That One Studio Ltd is the data controller for this website. This notice explains what we collect, why, and what you can do about it. Questions or requests: support@thatonestudio.co.uk.

What we collect and why

  • Order details (name, delivery address, email, phone, what you bought). Needed to take payment and get the parcel to you. Legal basis: performance of a contract.
  • Your email address, if you join the studio list. Legal basis: consent, which you can withdraw from any email.
  • A review, if you choose to leave one, along with the name you publish it under. Legal basis: consent.
  • Usage data: pages viewed, device and browser, roughly where in the world you are. Used to understand what people look at. Legal basis: consent, via cookies.

Who else sees it

We do not sell your data. We share only what each of these needs to do its job:

  • Shopify, who host the store and process payments.
  • Klaviyo, who send our emails, if you are on the list.
  • Judge.me, who handle product reviews.
  • Evri, who deliver your parcel and need your address to do it.
  • Google Analytics, who measure site traffic.

Some of these are based outside the UK. Where data leaves the UK it is protected by the safeguards in UK data protection law, such as the International Data Transfer Agreement or an adequacy decision.

Cookies

Some cookies are strictly necessary: they remember your basket and keep checkout working, and cannot be switched off. Others measure traffic through Google Analytics, and are only set where you have agreed. You can change your mind at any time by clearing cookies in your browser, or by using the cookie controls on this site.

How long we keep it

Order records are kept for six years, because UK tax law requires it. Marketing consent is kept until you unsubscribe. Reviews stay published until you ask us to remove them. Analytics data expires automatically after 14 months.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, object to how we use it, or ask us to send it elsewhere. Email support@thatonestudio.co.uk and we will respond within one month.

If you are not happy with how we have handled it, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.

If this notice changes we will update this page. Last updated September 2026.
